Conveniently located on a 25-acre wooded development, just one block from main street, Hi Country Haus offers a quiet mountain atmosphere and popular amenities. Winter Park's extensive mountain trail system is right out your door and it promises unparallel mountain beauty to hikers and mountain bikers alike. Accommodations range from studios to 3 bedroom condos and all offer excellent value. Key features and amenities include: Full kitchen, moss rock fireplace, TV, VCR, telephone; centralized recreation facility with indoor pool, 4 hot-tubs, sun deck, picnic pavillon. children's playground area, game room.

From the Denver International Airport or the Denver metro area, Interstate 70 West to extit 232 to Highway 40. Highway 40 will proceed over Berthoud Pass and will become the main street of downtown Winter Park. We are located 3 blocks into downtown on the right side of Highway 40 in the Park Place Shopping Center. We are at the end of the 'L' shaped building. The shopping center also contains a Conoco gas station and the local movie theater.

Hi Country Haus is located 1 block to main street where the majority of restaurants are located. The closest restaurants to our lodging are: Base Camp Bakery (7am to 3pm; closed Tuesdays); Guido Changs (3pm-10pm daily); Hernandos Pizza (5pm-10pm daily); Fontenot's Seafood & Grill (11am-10pm daily).

Hi Country Haus is located 2 1/2 miles from the Winter Park Ski Resort. There are a number of hiking, biking and snow shoe trails available from the property. A number of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
