The Masoero family owns Hotel Rosa and has a long history in the hotelier trade, which dates back to when the family ran The Hotel Italia in San Damiano D Asti.In 1939, Claudio Masoero married Alda Lano and almost 15 years later, the couple, together with Aldas mother, Anna Gallino, moved to Alassio where they built the Hotel Rosa from nothing. From that time onwards the family has been committed to the constant improvement of the hotels already welcoming atmosphere, and to bring the hotel into line with the very latest tourist requirements.In 1939 the hotel was equipped with covered garages, a conference hall, and access for disabled persons.-Our passion for this job,- Alda tells us, -has meant that we have been able to maintain the same warm and cordial welcome for our guests, even after all these years.-Aldas son Lorenzo has also worked alongside his mother in the hotel. Today her daughter in law Graziella and granddaughters Rosanna and Claudia -both catering diplomas- all work in the hotel. The cozy American Bar, The Wide Hall, the quiet TV Room, the Sea View Terrace and The Garden grant the maximum comfort and relaxation to adults, while the children will enjoy the Terrace Baby Games.
