Overlooking the emerald Caribbean Sea on one of the loveliest beaches in Barbados, this 2.5-acre resort sits amid lush tropical gardens edged by silken white sand beaches. Recently expanded, Bougainvillea now has 138 ocean, pool and garden view suites, all with kitchens. The spacious rooms are beautifully designed with cool Caribbean colors and include all of the amenities needed for comfort and convenience. There are three swimming pools, two are free form and meander through the tropical gardens and rock formations, and one of these even has a swim-up bar. The third pool is a lap pool, which also has a small children?s wading section. Bougainvillea has two restaurants, Lantern?s by the Sea for casual beachside dining or Waters Edge Restaurant offering a gourmet a la carte selection and fine dining service. Other facilities include Kids Club, a flood lit tennis court, state of the art fitness center, beach shop, games room and beauty salon with spa services, such as stone therapy body treatments, body wraps and aromatherapy massage. For the active guest, there is a wide selection of motorized and non-motorized watersports. The resort is within walking distance to St. Lawrence Gap, Barbados? best known restaurant and nightlife area. Dear Tour Operator Partner Today the construction company working on the condominium project next door to Bougainvillea has informed us that their projected hours and days of work for the next 6 weeks are 9.00a:m ? 4.30p:m, Monday through Saturday. They have also advised that there will be drilling during this time. After they have completed this part of the project the noise level should lessen to some degree. Please understand that we are passing on to you the information as and when we receive it. We are hopeful that they will stick to this schedule, however any deviation is entirely out of our control. In our efforts to address this, our offer is - any guests staying with us who are affected by the construction, will be offered a US$112.00 per room, per week credit. This can be used towards any incidental charges during their stay. Please note that this credit is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or other. The full amount must be utilized during their current stay. Since most of our rooms are unaffected and it is not possible to know in advance which guests will be accommodated in rooms impacted by the construction, we will treat this on a case-by-case basis. The Bougainvillea Beach Resort is a four star, beachfront, all suite hotel just 15 minutes away from the airport, 20 minutes to Bridgetown, the Capital and in St. Lawrence Gap.

Lanterns by the Sea serves daily Buffet and a la carte Breakfast, as well as sumptuous lunch and dinner menus. After the Managers Rum Punch Party on Monday from 6-7pm, there is a lavish B-B-Q Buffet with steel band entertainment. Also available is Waters Edge Restaurant, serving gourmet meals with an international accent, Waters Edge is open for dinner Monday through Saturday from 6:30pm with last order at 9.30pm.
